Dr. Sari Kasper

Dr. Kasper enjoys working with women of all ages for health maintenance, family planning, and surgical management. She strives to provide a compassionate, practical, and evidence-based approach to patient care. Her professional interests include colposcopy, adolescent gynecology, and minimally invasive surgery including laparoscopy, hysteroscopy, and DaVinci robotic surgery.

Born and raised on the East Coast, Dr. Kasper developed an aversion to cold winters while growing up in Wilton, Connecticut. Her long-term desire to settle in the Bay Area became immediately apparent when she arrived at Stanford University for undergraduate school where she pursued her passion for reading and writing about literature. After completing a B.A. in English with honors, she retreated to the woods of Vermont to complete her premedical coursework, undistracted but nearly frozen-to-death in Bennington, Vermont.

The holistic approach of Osteopathic medical school lured Dr. Kasper back to Southern California where she completed her D.O. at Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, California, in 2002. Although she rarely performs osteopathic manipulation, Dr. Kasper feels the hands-on training has enhanced her palpatory and surgical skills.

In 2006 Dr. Kasper joined OB-GYN Specialists because she believes in the value of "women caring for women." She now lives in Orinda with her very spoiled cat. She enjoys reading, cooking, and travel.

Dr. Kasper participates in Operation Access – Non Profit Organization that serves the medical needs of underserved women in our community and volunteers at the John Muir Mobile Health Clinic.
